• Presumed ordered with dealer, 18th August
• After repeatedly chasing him for an order number, I received one on the 6th September (showing that the order had been "input" on the 5th September)
• Provisional Week 7 (2017)
• Provisional Week 43 (2016) (jumped forward after I changed the wheels from silver to anthracite)
• Provisional Week 48 (2016)
• Provisional Week 49 (2016)
• Today..... Confirmed Week 49, 5th December - Very Happy about this news today.

Looks like manual gearboxes are the reason so many are on short lead times.

Our order was pushed back to week 6 today, but I'm guessing that's not the last move for us!

Oh dear, I'm being a bit female here aren't I?! I don't know exactly what they were - my beloved chose them. I'm more of a cushions gal (of which I have already bought several as I think the inside of the van is way too masculine! Twinkly lights are not being ruled out but don't tell my husband).

Me too. Was warned off getting a bottom drawer together too soon - both by wiser heads here on the forum, and by my husband. Managed to stop (more or less) at a new tea towel, sparkly fairy lights, some nice warm woolly rugs and some cushions-cum-pillows and a set of sharp knives. Whoops!

I've been very, very good so far! We've got loads of crap which came out of our caravan, some of which will be useful in the Cali hopefully. Oh and I did buy a mini oven as we do like pie and beans when we pitch up on a chilly Friday night somewhere in the winter (hook up permitting!). It's great for cooking part baked rolls as well, so there can be much soup and a roll as I am the queen of homemade soup!

Excellent Stolly I ordered mine same time as you but with DSG. It seems that Manuals do get through VW faster.

Interestingly, the dealer mentioned that an order placed one month ago was already on a ship ... but another ordered at the same time is Week 11 next year. Barmy! Pleased that the wait is over, and California is in our life. Great service from Martin at SMG Tonbridge.

I now need to check with Martin that my order hasn't slipped again, now to week 11. When did you order? Mine was ordered on 29 April.

Ordered a Beach 150 DSG on the 2nd September and I've just had a confirmed build date of week 49. So hopefully I should be able to collect it sometime in January.

Tuttavia anche vicivo a me, in Slovenia, sono anche in attesa di nove mesi per la consegna.
