T7 Spyshots.

I think he knows the measurements and is too embarrassed to show the evidence.
The evidence is all too clear. And that guy is thinner than average.

The new long wheelbase Multivan based California is not only 20cm (!) longer than the 6.1, and 17.3cm over the 5m limit for lowest fares and tolls, but is still smaller inside than a 6.1. This to me is pathetic.
For an extra 13cm over the Multivan, a converted LWB T6.1 would give a huge amount more interior space by comparison!

I thought it was a poor video, if you are going to attempt a comparison at least get a tape measure out and measure the height, width and length available.

If he is too honest, he stands to lose some commission from VW.

Does the concept, become the T7 conception…???
I’m confused, but it’s probably worth a watch.
Would I want one of the last T6.1s or the latest van.
Hmmm…

Everyone remembers the original Grand California Concept van called the California XXL?

The production version lost a lot of the concepts ideas... I wouldn't be shocked if the T7 California followed.

New teaser on FB… looks to me like the “iPad“ on the concept has shrunk to an ”iPhone” unless the operator has very small fingers!
Having sat through a one hour 'release event' of the new Cupra Formentor on Youtube last Monday I think I'll just wait for the videos to come out rather than watch this 'World Premier' on the 7th you know. Eight arty-farty design types gave speeches, there was a fashion show, they launched a new plastic bracelet that 'embodies the Cupra design philosophy' (possibly the most hideous thing I've ever seen), they had possibly the worst singer I've ever heard and spent the grand sum of 5 minutes talking about the new Formentor. Just why?

I'm with you. If the fact that they posted a video that was not much better than a still of a phone sized screen is anything to go by, I think I'll wait until someone who actually goes camping makes a presentation.

Only 4 more days to find out whether I’m glad I got a late T6.1 Beach, or whether I should have waited for the T7
Why would you spend £60k+ on something if you weren’t sure that you wanted it?

That's actually what I'm most curious about, what a Beach equivalent would look like if there is one.
If a Beach version exists… My guess is the lower bed will be smaller than the current Beach. It will have less interior space and less storage. It will come with a rear pullout cooker. It may come in a hybrid version.

In summary, it will probably be more like a larger version of the Caddy California in my opinion.

And virtually no headroom (roof down).
