Hi everyone,

As promised after my introduction, I have a few questions about making our camper more comfortable year-round. First one in regards to liners for the pop top.

Has anyone had the chance to compare the Thais SL and the Brandrup IsoTop?

Right now in France, the Brandrup IsoTop for the electric elevating roof (T5) is around €560, while the Thais SL is about €260 — a huge difference.
Is there really a big difference in quality/performance to justify the price?

We’d mainly use it for keeping the pop-top area warmer and reducing drafts/condensation in winter and making it darker in the morning (otherwise our kids wake up as soon as there’s daylight!)

If anyone is selling a second-hand Brandrup, I’d also be interested (shipping to France) !

Thanks in advance!
Josh

We have had both, the Thais is more of a utility rubber feel to it a bit like a waterproof mattress protector, the Brandrup has a more upmarket feel to it.
We went from Thais to Brandrup only because the Thais one that we had didn't have an opening window on the front.
For keeping it dark & reducing drafts keeping warm etc there's nothing in it.
Thais are pretty rare in the uk due to the problems importing them whereas there are Uk outlets ( including the club shop) for the Brandrup.
