This is Bound to be Contentious.

Halfway through.

Quality!!

I thought it was quit informative about the trials & tribulations of modern day farming, and entertaining. Calib doesn’t pull his punches and I still can’t understand the Dry Stone Wall man.

Liking it a lot, but I’m a Yank so I can use that as my excuse...

Very enjoyable and of course the tractor 'had' to be a Lambo

Didn't expect to but we're loving it.

So who’s been watching “ Clarkson’s Farm “ on Amazon Prime?
I don’t generally like Jeremy Clarkson‘s style and was uncertain whether or not I would be able to tolerate him in order to watch. However I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is great to see the young Kaleb’s remarkable knowledge and expertise at 21 years of age, and to see the confidence and skill of a young woman farmer helping Jeremy to understand and handle his tractor too. It’s reassuring to see able young people enter the profession. It gives an insight into some of the challenges of managing a 1000 acre arable farm pretty well, including talking about costs. Jeremy has the good grace to genuinely acknowledge the skill of the characters brought in, especially the young shepherdess, and he has risen in my estimation as a result. I would recommend it if you have been wondering about watching. There were some real laugh out loud moments too. He has met his match in the enormity of the land and natural world so you see him in a different light which, I think, suits him.

Well I really didn’t expect these sort of comments. I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I know it’s made to be entertaining but it’s also very informative. There are some wonderful characters who know their stuff.
I thought Clarkson was going to cry when he went to say goodbye to the 3 sheep at the abattoir and they’d gone.

3 episodes in and enjoying it. Great characters, informative and funny.

Not quite as appealing in some aspects as Our Yorkshire Farm but I enjoyed it, despite it being a bit staged at times e.g the wasabi sales in London. Clarkson has bucket loads of money to run the thing as a hobby whereas real farmers would tackle things very differently. Nevertheless, it opened people’s minds to the difficulties and bureaucracy faced in farming.

Started watching it last night and now have to wait for Mrs Gas to watch it so we can enjoy it together. Informative and funny looking forward to watching more

I have and love it. Im married into a farming family and theyve loved it so far.

Despite his obvious larking about they (and me) enjoy the fact that he touches on aspects of everyday farming you never get see on tv.

Its different and an easy watch. Ive even learned a few things from Clarkson!

Check out Harry’s Farm on YouTube- not funny at all, but good to hear from Harry Metcalf (of Harry’s Garage fame) talk you though his farming life

might if I had prime, don't do pay tv
I love posts like this. Not sure who you’re angry at, us or yourself? Perhaps you’re not angry. Even less sure what the point of it is?
Anyway, save up and invest, it’s well worth it. :cheers

Totally agree, Caleb and Gerard certainly add to the banter. Although Gerard's banter is not understood by all!

At least with Prime you can choose to pay if you want too each month… unlike the mandatory TV license!
and you get, sameday/next day delivery, books, magazines, sports / football, TV progs (some real goodies), music and Movies and unlimited photo storage too.

Compared to the the rest, its a decent value all round package.
