This weekend in Holland, the area I’ve visited have no camping pitches anywhere. We stayed at an overflow field for about 10 motorhomes.
I watched everyday, white whale drivers driving onto the land and claiming a patch of grass, only to be told by the owner, sorry not enough room please move on.
Literally people fighting for a patch of grass on a campsite. Even in this overflow site.

So I wonder, what’s the point in these bigger vans, if you can’t just pull up anywhere.
Why would one even need a campsite...???
