£1099 just for the battery - You could get 3 roof mounted solar panels for a lot less , by the time you factor in the cost of portable solar panel to charge the Anker portable battery when offgrid.

The recharge rate is impressive, but where would you ever store this in the van…?

I really like the idea of one of these, and it would probably suit us better than permanent roof solar, but I still can’t think of any I’d really *need* it for.

Perhaps laptop charging if working in the van?

Phone, tablet & fridge all easily charged off leisure battery, esp. whilst touring & engine running, but perhaps this would keep the fridge going longer?
