V5c. Registering as a Motor Caravan.

If you want your Cali registered as a Motor Caravan on the V5c (logbook), ask the dealer to send an accompanying letter with the V55 to DVLA requesting it to be registered as a Motor Caravan because otherwise the V5c will probably come back from DVLA stating Body Type as MPV. The problem arises because VW are generating the V55 stating MPV not Motor Caravan. A letter! I know, how old-fashioned! but don't forget the V55 application is going by snail mail to DVLA.

Now that raises the question, is a California an MPV or a Motor Caravan?
Also, what are the advantages and disadvantages?
