I posted with regards my VW app menus being in German. My We Connect app was working correctly.
VW have just sent me a way to change the country back to the UK.
Please kindly be informed, that if some functions that you reach from the Volkswagen app (e.g. the driving data or contact section) are displayed in an incorrect language, the language settings in your user account (VWID) are probably the reason.
Kindly note, that you can change this in a few steps:
1.First, please log in to VWID https://vwid.vwgroup.io/ with your username and password.
2. Scroll down to the "Connected apps" section.
3. On Volkswagen App, select "remove access".
You will then be automatically logged out of the Volkswagen App.
Please now open the Volkswagen app and log in again with your username and password.
Then allow the app to access the VWID again and you will be asked for your residence.
There, select your residence or the country you want to use.
The above mentioned functions will then be displayed again in the desired language.
