VW Lesswire router - any way to force-select the network while abroad?

Does anyone know how to force the router to connect to a different roaming mobile provider? We’re in france and it is only connecting to 2G via F SFR. If I put the sim in my iphone it selects orange which is fine on 4G.

In my phone F SFR is 2G only, so just need to force a different network not the one it auto connects to. I can’t find a setting to do this in the router settings.

have you logged into router and looked under the admin settings page, can’t remember off top of my head but might be switch for 4G when roaming?

Cant see anything. I was hoping to find a selector to choose the network like i can on my phone.

I recently tried to set up my router whilst at home. I am also on Vodafone so used the same APN details as my phone (which works great abroad). Don’t know if it’s worth trying

APN : wap.vodafone.co.uk
User : wap
Password : wap

Tried that too as wasn’t sure if it made any difference. Strangely, I also have a vodafone sim for my phone and that works fine in the router.

Currently using the van sim in my phone and hotspotting
