What food can I take to France?

It can be interesting, but I find that these are 2 different things.
When I was young ........ my English friends introduced me to "stout and cider". Half a pint of stout and half a pint of cider. Very good memories!
Is this still done?
I don't know if this is still done, but I like to drink cider (from both sides but let them test this too ;)) and a stout from time to time. Recently an American one: Spencer trappist imperial stout. Man, this one was tasty.

Guinness and champagne makes a proper black velvet. In my younger days pub, a Guinness and cider was known as a black vomit or snake vomit
Guinness and Moët... Every pub serves it at lunchtime....Think I would just stick to the Guinness.
