Hi,cadac cook 2pro qr , outwell fallcrest sides and awning tie down straps all purchased , this will do until the service , cam belt , waterpump and mot next month
Hi - a 4m extension cable is the perfect length to plug in the socket by the bench seat - routing with Velcro on the awning arm. Also, if preferred, the strip can be powered from a power pack or, in my case, a rechargeable lantern, while keeping the sliding door closed. Some new LED lights for the awning, so I can see what I’m burning on the Cadac!!

Thats interesting. I was also told rear pads and discs down to 10% and fronts a bit better (can't remember what) when I had my cam belt and water pump done.
Circa 44000 miles? 2017 model?
Very strange very similar mileage!!Thats interesting. I was also told rear pads and discs down to 10% and fronts a bit better (can't remember what) when I had my cam belt and water pump done.

Looks smart. About same price I paid in Germany. Now all you need are the strengthening guy ropes.
Outwell front and side panels for the wind out awning. £183.33 from the club shop with the VIP discount.
Pegged out as above gives a footprint of ~12 sq m (4m side to side x 3m van to front) compared with the 4.8 sq m of the canopy. The useable area is considerably less than 12 sq m though more than the useable area under the canopy alone.
First impressions are generally positive, but the cheap plastic pegs will be going into the recycling bin.
I have these too and keep thinking that Outwell (or someone) should design the triangles that would make a more complete shelter

It comes in 5 pieces, pre-glued on the back and with a solvent wipe to ensure good adhesion. Just carefully line up the pieces one at a time over the black grill and press on.Can I ask how this fits in? How do you get the original black trim off so you can fit the chrome one?
I love a sunburst dreadnought.Brilliant...just let me know what campsites.

We bought the Thule tie down kit from the club shop, about £24. We haven’t needed to use them yet, but I like the idea of the springs to relieve tension. We also have the Outwell Hillcrest and Fallcrest tarps, and we’re finding these stabilise the wind out awning very well.Hi,

That looks a really nice instrument - well done. Keeping the fingers moving when away in the van is an ambition of mine too. I am thinking about a silent guitar, that’s basically just a fretboard and a small box, with either headphone amp, or use my Yamaha THRA5.I’ve just finished making my traveler guitar. It fits very nicely into the wardrobe too….. just!
Apologies in advance if we share the same campsite, and I drink, then get all musical.

Electric guitars can make for great traveler guitars, mainly because the body shape makes absolutely no difference to the tone (controversial). Consequently you don’t have to sacrifice quality for size. That looks a really nice instrument - well done. Keeping the fingers moving when away in the van is an ambition of mine too. Might see you then I live thereIts a bit of a pain in the neck to clean off all the dead bugs that stain my bonnet after a journey
After reading about another member that had their Cali 'Detailed' I was inspired!
So I gave the Cali a good scrub and dry and put some C2 Liquid Crystal over the front facing components, bonnet, wing mirrors, grill. Its certainly lovely and smooth! I'm off to Hawes, N.Yorks this weekend to kill me some bugs in the hope that I can easily wipe them clean off with a sponge when I get there.
I'll let you know.

Excellent. I’m bringing a bike with me. The only problem is that I live in flatland, Garmin has told me I’m not qualified to ride around your neighbourhood.Might see you then I live there

The main design consideration is making sure that the body has some way of resting on your lap. A removable side extension would do the trick. Without that your fret hand has to do too much work keeping the instrument stable to be able to play well. Fretting chords becomes harder and twiddling is very tricky.
