Their standing has risen in my eyes, that have effectively lost work by giving me the correct advice..

But this differs from their original advice, only after you checked & raised a query.

Wonder how many would have trusted the initial advice given by the dealer and just got the arms + bushes swapped.

to be fair the initial advice was "if you really want to do them we will but we aren't sure its necessary."

I'll be off to France for a month soon & wanted to get the van right hence my initial enthusiasm pulled up sharp by the cost!!

But I do accept your assessment that I am quite astute!! So thank you for that
