What is this at the bottom of the gas compartment?

Dont want to pull it and cant find any reference to it??? Is it a plug hole of sorts???

What are these two plastic pieces for? They are ‘floating’ and i guess they are just ‘locators’ for the awning rails as they fold back in? A bit strange that they can be slid along the channel to any position.

There used to be 2 blocks of foam to stop rattles. These are the 21st century replacement.
