Both. The first one was my First Date with the Auberg-ine, near home just in case. Ah, the first times... ;-)

Putting some new life in this topic: one of my favourite spots at Shorebreak surfschool Oostduinkerke

Nice. But there's a spot right at the beach, no?.

Nope, you're sent away by local police nowadays. But on the parking at Zeebries/Surfschool no problem if you rent something or had a drink there. There is a spot though near the sportcenter.

Found this free spot in the old harbor of Veurne, only a few kms from the seaside.
There is water, toilets and possibilty to empty chimical toilet.

There are 2 parking lots @Hazebeekstraat, one at the intersection with Dorpstraat, one accross the sports hall. But Zeebries stays favourite!

Ho wé vent, part-time van Oostende wè. And still looking for a beach for this ocean. Sportshalls we have all over. ;-)
If I'm not mistaking @tanne had some experience with Campermeal. Not sure if she's still amongst us though.

I’ve been scouting alot around Antwerpen but in true Belgian fashion all access to ‘jaagpaden’ next to waterways are prohibited for cars. I was considering getting a fishing permit but then found out that only disabled fishermen are allowed to park right next to the water. Ah yes, and I don’t even fish

Found one quiet spot in Zwijndrecht, Speeltuin Kerkstraat. One could drive the Cali straight in the Schelde there.

Alfons Verdijckstraat in Schoten is also nice and quiet, you can park right next to the water.

I would love to see more tips in Belgium!

With my recent Corona beard I now look 40 years older, ànd I do always carry fishing gear with me, aha! ;-)
Or you just literally seize the moment, till you get chased away. Here at the back harbor of Bruges it took them 5 hours to find us at this ponton.

Ah that's Lissewege; no chance of sleeping there! Round Bruges there are still some spots, though some P4N spots are banned by neighbours; but around Waggelwater, cemetery Assebroek, ...
