Black is a shocker to keep clean. Metallic grey and silver look clean longest (imho). I was buying a grey Cali Edition and at the last minute I swerved and went for Candy white. Now I can’t help admiring the grey which looks great, especially two tone with black. To answer the question, I don’t think I’d have a black Cali.

Wish they’d do a retro 70s metallic or pearl in lime green!

I used to be indecisive, but now I’m not sure....

I’d love a Grey Edition, not sure if we can get them in the UK.

I would love a silver Edition but it doesn't even make the UK list of coloured Editions that may or may not be available!

We have had a sand beige, now have a Mojave beige and love it, the last one sold straight away. I will admit when they are standard they look boring mind you they all do. Ours has side bars, 18" wheels lowered 30mm, dubflectors, a full black bonnet bra carbon rear bumper protector and mirror caps and a black front splitter.
Now it says I don't wear a tank top or eat werthers originals. Don't forget the garland and the one life live it sticker :bananadance2

If I could have had Pure Grey I would but was told its a base van colour only.

My pearl black Cali has most of those (not the onelife sticker as that's a LandRover motto that escaped) and I DO eat Werthers Originals - what does that say about me? :Grin

So do I but don't tell anyone ;)

What’s wrong with Worthers Originals...?

You'll usually see that "One life" sticker displayed on the back of a battered muddy Land Rover. I assume that it means that you are wasting your life unless you are turning all of our leafy green lanes into an impassable quagmire. Personally, I can think of thousands of ways of living my life without buggering up the countryside and ruining it for others.

I see blackberry is getting a hard time on the poll, wonder if Volkswagen saw this poll and that's why they discontinued it

Probably easier for them to look at the sales numbers

I loved my blackberry T6 when new but it showed every single scratch and blemish. I've gone back to white for my new crafter I think it'll stay looking better for longer.

My mate has a blackberry caddy and it does show every slightest scratch, fingerprint etc.. It dies look like nice when clean but I am not sure I could live with the constant cleaning.

No comments on Bamboo yet it gets hammered in the poll. When I saw one in the metal i thought it looked lovely. The name is crap and it doesnt look much in photos generally making me question whether voters have actually seen one. Whats the problem with it ?

I've lived with my Bamboo one for 6+ months now and I love it. It gets lots of positive comments when out and about. I'm a bit conservative and WOULD have gone silver or grey given the choice but would go bamboo again if I bought a new one. It hides the muck well (much like grey) but it a bit more interesting than the 'executive' colours without being too way out. For a van that has to fill many roles, I think it's a great choice.

I think the same. I realise its taste but Im surprised at the vote. I will almost certainly go for the same especially as you confirm my biggest fear regarding the muck is unfounded

I'd like a custard yellow cali, but when I saw the grape yellow one at a show recently it turned my stomach! And I'm a big yellow fan normally! I bought a boring white, but wish I'd gone for red now.

Red does look nice until it gets peppered with stone chips, then the white undercoat shows through.

Don’t think Red VW’s have ever recovered since the Red Mark II Golfs faded so badly

I had a red Polo which lived outside for five years that did not fade, did have white spots on the front though.

I 100% agree with you. We have Bamboo Green and it looks amazing in the flesh, not so good online or in photos. I'm glad we went for it over the other colours, but of course, it's personal taste.

Were the white spots tiny stone chips?
Yes, we also had a Salsa red T5.1 panel van I was going to convert before seeing the light and buying a Cali, which within a year looked like it had been shot with white buckshot on the front panel with stone chips
