My order was 19/08 - build week confirmed 08/10 (eight weeks) chased every week

Sounds like you could be bounced into next year for the RDE2 update, that would of been my worst nightmare. I ordered a 150 19/8 which is planned to be built next week. VW chat told me when I was enquiring the factory will only confirm build week a week or two prior. Good luck anyway

I’m not really concerned about Brexit. Something will get sorted. Companies within EU countries stand to lose out from no trade deal with the UK. They’ll also all have a contingency plan. Probably using Swiss registered companies as a free trade with the UK of some other bypass way of doing it. Who knows. I‘m sure as a worst case, you have a cancel clause in your contract. Still not the end of the world.

Overnight news isn't great but fingers crossed still.
I have a 150 on order and have now been told it will be next year although I don't yet have a build week

Sigh - yes, Covid is the BIG unknown. Theoretically my cali will be ready to pick up from Preston before Christmas. I'll have to work out how to get from Windsor (Tier 1 currently) to Preston (Tier 3 currently) safely if it ever gets there...

Picked up our new ocean on Wednesday, today we moved to Tier 3! Most camp sites won't let us stay there.... I assume we can still wild camp? We've been working at home and isolated, so wouldn't put anyone at risk . Gutted

Well excitement is an understatement in my household today ! Had confirmation that our van arrived in sheerness this morning and is now awaiting transportation to my dealer. Although this can take up to 10days it does mean that we potentially get it in 2 weeks (ish) time.. !!

Im actually surprised about the build time as it was a week 41 (5th Oct) and it completed and over the pond so quickly.. I was expecting them today to say it’s now on the boat on its way not driving off the boat !!

anywho just thought I’d share .. proves it’s not always worse case senarios

Mine was Week 41 also but as of this morning had not left the factory yet. I guess the day of the week they start the build has some impact along with the transport/shipping availability. Sounds like the planets were in alignment for yours. I’m hopeful for mid/late November.

My Dealer has told me they think my 199PS 4 Motion is "being switched to the 204PS" We'll not be seeing anything of it this side of March 2021. To be honest a 21 Plate doesn't interest me in the slightest however a van that I can drive away and sleep in does

Expected delivery was mid December, Order from dealer had requested (somewhat optimistic) delivery by 23rd November
As of today dealer has no build date. They are somewhat surprised at the delay and are making enquiries to find out what the hold-up is.

Strange. Our 150 Ocean ordered 21/9 and today VW Chat said unconfirmed build w/c 16th Nov. Maybe the next couple of days your luck might change. Fingers crossed for us all.

Same here. Ordered 11/9. Factory accepted order 17/9. VW chat saying no build date yet. What really annoys me, and I made my feelings about this clear on the chat, is that someone must know by now if it is going to be built as a 199 this year or a 204 next year. There’s a big difference, to me especially and having spent North of £65k I would expect a bit more information to be coming my way, rather than the usual chat response of “try again next week”. Bloody annoying
