Magnetic cup holder phone mount for those of us with the requirement to plug in for Android Auto on the T6.1. Reasonably neat solution that seems to work well at first impression.

2 marvel mats for the interior, cut and shaped to fit. I bought 2 so I could lift 1 and place ontop of the other when the bottom bed was out. 1 marvel mat for the boot and some heklo wind deflectors.

Great solution and so easy to clean.

My granddaughter dropped a whole mug of tomato and red pepper soup all over ours when we were out for the day. Just scraped as much as I could off and gave it a quick wipe with cold water. Then next day removed them and sponged with hot soapy water. Dried in the sun, hoovered up great. No sign of it.

When you first get them they lose loads of fluff for ages, but they do settle after a while.

Thank goodness they have a rubber backing

That looks good. So is the magnetic holder attached to the top of the "ashtray/coin pot"?

It's one of these. Fits in the cup holder and you twist it to expand its size. Positioned carefully and the three bulges just find purchase in the middle cup holder in the T6.1 . Stick the metal plate to the back of your phone and I had a small USB c lead to connect up neatly. Pleased with Android auto too, seems to work well. Use the mic button on the steering wheel and just say the postcode, or place name.

We have one, works brilliantly, sticks well.

Came across this item looking for a solution to the same problem - thought I'd search the forum to see if anyone had tried it.

Any chance of a long term review please?
Ordered! Thanks.

It hasn't budged from the top of the glass top, even after several open/closes. It doesn't get used much, but works perfectly when it has been used for cans of pop.

Cheers - I'll order one. See if it stops the grumbles from the back.

Whatever did we do before they invented Cup Holders.
Oh, I know, we stopped in a layby for a drink/brew.

I must be weird, but I’ve never used a cup holder to hold cups/cans etc. in my current car I’ve removed them from the centre console to give me more storage space…

In a similar vein, I’ve never walked down the street drinking from a Starbucks/Costa coffee cup.

Thought I would treat to a good scrub and polish, rubbish suns just come out need to wait for full cool day, should not have to wait long.

Now added Side Streamers from VanStyle. Very inexpensive compared to genuine VW ones. Quality seems good and they are very easy to fit. If they don’t stand the test of time I’ll remove them.
Note, you have to order the SWB - Twin Sliding Doors version for a California with the sliding door on the drivers side.

Bought a get me out the sh1t device. Not had a flat battery yet but I reckon one day I will need this. Might save me from risking my van electronics jump starting other people too

I've got something similar and was very sceptical about its ability until I used it in anger. Been used a handful of times for friends and family and never failed to start one yet. Keeps its charge for an amazing amount of time too and now in the Cali #justincase

I treat Amarillo to premium diesel after every AdBlue refill. 13L of AdBlue was under £13. The diesel over 10x that price!

Getting dearer by the day @Amarillo. Filled mine with ordinary diesel yesterday and it was just over £100!

I first paid over £100 for a tank about 13 or 14 years ago. That was at a small independent on Skye filling the 75L tank on my Peugeot 406 diesel.

My journey today was 247 miles from Ivybridge to Greenwich. The MPG for the whole journey was 32. However, the last 43 miles was on premium diesel, and returned 41.8 mpg.

I have no idea how much of the difference in mpg is attributable to the type of diesel, and how much to the constant slow speed on the M25.

Could not get items from Germany in November last year. The company refused to sell into uk used Brexit as the reason. So tried to buy from UK. Last week saw the shelf I had originally wanted from Germany available from a Belgian supplier. No hassle came in a week and cheaper than from the German supplier. Now fitted really strong and neat finish. Looking forward to a day out in Portsmouth at the kite festival on Sunday to try it out.

Looks like a nice bit of kit. How do you fit it? Do you need to remove the trim by the roof, or does it just slot in?
