EHU (commando) - most unlikely. In addition to high power charging all EVs I’m aware of can be charged from a domestic supply using the “granny charger”. Current drawn (amps) can be restricted further. Best not to forget that you’re charging your vehicle from the EHU at 10 amps if you want to use the kettle or hair dryer?
Kettle & hairdryer could be powered by the battery no need to draw from the EHU and you could use them when wild camping

The Caravan Club are moving with the times, but not off EHU
The prices you see are way way out, the price of electricity has gone through the roof compared to early 2020 when this was published.
Our house electricity has doubled in recent months and that’s only because we got a “Deal” before the price explosion....Anyone with their pricing coming to an end soon is going to be shocked when they get the renewal figures...

Found this 2001 Kinsmart 1/38 VW Microbus that had been rolled by the looks of it, in the bottom of the kids toy box. 20 years later it has morphed into the VW ID Buzz20211211_154209.jpg

Pre-order NOW … anyone?

Interesting thoughts from Jerba.

Smart move.
£2000 tied up for 18 months but probably make 10 … and have the buzz of picking up a new Buzz

I’m just sorting a 0% credit card and will see if I can stick the deposit on that.

To me the current model is too small, more like an electric Cali Caddy than a Cali T6.

It’s not a Cali substitute.
For us, it would run alongside our California or flipped for profit.

Eurovans Crawley (JCB Group) are offering vehicles for a £1 deposit. Haven’t looked at the small print but notice the ID Buzz is listed.

Haha. Careful if you buy into Lithium @marchugo .
Many years ago I invested a very small amount as a bit of fun/speculation in a company called Dajin Lithium Corporation who have the rights to Lithium extraction in various locations. One location is adjacent to the Tesla battery factory in Nevada so I thought it could be a good bet. How wrong was I, the shares have halved in price :)
I’m holding on to them though - this time next year Rodney, I could be a millionaire!
How’s the shares doing?
Didn’t they get bought out?

Yes they were bought out.
Last time I looked they were down about 60% but i’m keeping the faith :)
Only a small amount invested, so just a bit of fun but who knows ?…………

We can't make our minds up on what colour. What's your thinking?
Haha, don’t get me started……….. We’re putting it off until ‘actual order’ time :D

Things have moved a long way from the panel beating and jimmying I saw going on in the British Leyland factory
If you like this video The Jaguar factory tour is well worth a spend.
It shows to production lines, the F-Type which is a little labour intensive and then the Range Rover unit which is entirely robotic.

If makes you think that there is no skill in making cars, the skill is in making robots.

One trouble is have his having got used to really good residuals on our California"s. Is it financial suicide to fully load a BUZZ ? because l do like a good residual. After all at the end of the day, it's only a van with 5 seats.

I reckon the residuals will hold up very well, it is a VW ‘van’ after all
