Does anyone on here use this type cap for filling up their tank if so which one is the one that fits and works the best

Maybe I need an in-line tap of some description so I can turn it on and off away from the tap otherwise I can see it falling outI’ve tried something similar and the air in the lines can’t escape fast enough if the water has a lot of pressure. I bailed on it completely and just use a clean hose directly into the hole. Much easier and no fuss. And can use max psi water pressure to fill tanks quickly.
Based on the comments above I’m also here for the giggles to see what others post.

Thats we use too with the jubilee removed, I cut a small amount of the lip away so that water can escape if i overfillWe have a Hozelock push fit connector on the end of the hoses we use (long one at home, short 7m flat hose for filling on sites), and this pushes neatly into the hole and stays put when filling.
This is what we use, it fits without adaption. There’s still a gap to allow air to escape and water to overflow.Thats we use too with the jubilee removed, I cut a small amount of the lip away so that water can escape if i overfill

Once I’m finished I blow through the hose to ensure bacterias are all blown outWhat a disappointment! Where are all of the “do-you-know-there-is-enough-bacteria-in-a-hosepipe-to-kill-an-elephant” crew?![]()
Do you just wipe the end thats dragged on the ground on your jumper before use? You can't be too careful.Once I’m finished I blow through the hose to ensure bacterias are all blown out![]()
I usually have a handy handkerchief in my pocket. It gets changed every month, or two.Do you just wipe the end thats dragged on the ground on your jumper before use? You can't be too careful.
Exactly what I do too! Also got a fresh water hose just for this purpose in a bag stored in the rear seat drawer like this one.You know that bag in the underseat drawer for tying down the roof in case you end up with no roof hydraulics (if you don't you should do) - well I have one of the velcro straps threaded through one of the small plastic channel fixings and through a funnel that has a holding slot at the perimeter. Fix the strap into a loop, slide the plastic fixing into the roof channel above the filler and fit some plastic tubing on the funnel spout which is then shoved into the hole. A collapsible water carrier (10, 15L not sure) which is carried in one of the folded chairs in the rear door is used to pour water into the funnel etc. It's quick and does wonders for your 6 pack. Cheaper than the gym.
And no hosepipe that someone might have been washing down their you-know-what with...
