Brandrup ISO-TOP MK VI for VW T6 T6.1 California with Electric Front Opening Roof

ISO-TOP the all-rount talent for seasons in between and summer: Isolates and protects effectively from cooling by wind infiltration – Ideal for temperatures between approx. -5° to +45° C.
ISO-TOP is concipated for the use all year round: An isolating air cushion is created between the gaiter and the ISO-TOP, which is also effective in high temperatures – also in midsummer it is noticeably cooler under the roof. When the windows are opened, a refreshing air current is achieved and the double wall (gaiter + ISOTOP) dams the heat.
If it is cold, the warm air from the parking heater is hardly “blown away” through the gaiter.

The new high-tech material is highly breathable and absolutely windproof. The windbreak, the reduction of dampness, the indoor climate and safety are excellent. The ISO-TOP membrane also protects the bed mattress from humidity, when closing the top with a wet gaiter: additionally to thermal insulation (cold/heat), ISO-TOP offers an efficient protection against humidity and absorbs exterior noise. The membrane on the reverse side is black to ensure a better sleeping environment.

There are big windows with zipper on three of the sides. If there is a front opening in the gaiter, ISO-TOP can also be opened completely.

ISO-TOP is the classy, cosy “year-round inner tent”, which does not need any additional storage space and is always ready for use without any further effort as soon as the parking position is reached.

ISO-TOP MK VI remains mounted inside the pop-up-top:
the top can be closed with the ISO-TOP installed inside!

ATTENTION: When closing the pop-up roof, the front opening of the ISO-TOP has to be open!
The front opening can be rolled down and attached with straps to two buttons.

Lower fixation with hook-and-loop fastener all around: Cold air cannot penetrate into the berth.
The new attachment above has a precise attachment and the best possible seal.
At the front ISO-TOP is attached with hook-and-loop fastener to five special holding-pads, which have to be permanently fixed to the front interstice of the roof lining.

Fixation at the side with hook-and-loop fastener.

One looptape is attached to the farthest pad and the eyes of the child-safety net with its smaller hook part.

The second looptape is attached between the two eyes of the serial child-safety net with its hook part.

The third looptape is attached to the eyes of the serial child-safety net and the fabric hemstitch of the rear batten: The plastic part, which is sewn onto the ISO-TOP, is inserted from the top into the hemstitch and pushed down into it.

Be careful while inserting it and make sure that the hemstitch is not put under tension to avoid the loosening of the rear seams of the hemstitch.

Thereafter the ISO-TOP is attached on the looptapes with hook-and-loop fastener.

A fitting piece of frieze band has to be glued onto the upper back end of the varnished aluminium roof and firmly pressed down. In the corner region four round (Ø 2 cm) frieze band pieces are attached on each side.

Directly in the corner the ISO-TOP material is pulled under the roof lining, so that it fits around the edges of the lining.

At the back ISO-TOP is additionally attached on the top with hook-and-loop fastener.

Attention! For California pop-up-top (with or without ISO-TOP): while closing the top, only a window or door which is opposite to the wind direction (lee) has to be kept open!
All windward windows and doors have to be closed.
