I've been using the socket nxt to the sink to power the TV when not on Ehu but lately it doesn't seem to get a good connection & TV picture isn't solid & when I disconnect the end is quite hot. Anyone got any idea what's happening.
It works great in the cig lighter & also the one beside the side door but cig one is of the engine battery so that's no good.
Here is a pic of the cable & the socket.16001818455796352670363965940902.jpg16001817681584428276616056115666.jpg

It says 120w max.

What wattage is the tv?
I think the OP is using the 12V din socket, not the inverter.

It is possible that either the Pin on the plug or the base of the socket has tarnished, the din socket has 2 spring clips that grip the end of the plug and they may have moved apart, you might be able to use the tube of a plastic pen(not metal) to push them closer together to get a batter connection.

Problem solved, the connection on the lead was the problem it was getting a good grip but the metal sides were not getting a good connection so I open them out more & presto it work.
Thanks for the advice everyone
