2014 Blue Motion yellow oil warning light

Have had no issues previously but have amber check oil level warning light. Have checked level and added oil then rechecked.
Oil level seems ok on dipstick 15 mins after a run but different oil warning light light still coming on - a yellow oil can with wavy line beneath. There is no reference to this in the manual but online this appears to be another version of low oil level.
Waiting to see if garage can run diagnostics.
Just wondered if anyone has any wisdom on this? Might it be faulty sensor/ require resetting or another issue? Driving fine with no apparent change.

The yellow can with wavy line underneath is “oil low or sensor not working”
If you’ve checked the level it’s probably the sensor. I haven’t a clue how to check that.

Oil Level or Sensor.
Check Oil Level. NB the warning light is reset by opening and closing the bonnet. If it returns with a normal oil level then it can be the sensor malfunctioning.
