Can anyone confirm the size of the spare wheel tyre that will fit under the back floor of the GC. I know from previous messages that it has to be a 16in wheel, but what size tyre do I need to keep the rolling radius the same.

205/75 R16 if you have a 600 3.5t
235/65 R16 if you have a 680 or 600 at 3.88t to get the higher load rating needed.

Después de mucho cambiar de opinión, finalmente arreglé las ruedas y los neumáticos nuevos para nuestra furgoneta. Tenía 2 razones principales para querer cambiar:

1. (En mi opinión) las proporciones de la camioneta estándar se ven mal ya que las ruedas se ven muy pequeñas en comparación con la enorme carrocería de la camioneta. Así que al final hablé con la buena gente de Rogue Alloy Wheels y me tranquilizaron y me suministraron y montaron lo que espero sea la solución perfecta. Las llantas son de marca propia de 18 pulgadas y los neumáticos son General Grabber At3.

Hasta ahora todo bien: la conducción es un poco más firme (en el buen sentido) y la camioneta ha perdido mucho de esa sensación de "empapado" en las curvas y la dirección se siente un poco más directa. No noté ningún aumento en el ruido de la carretera y ahora el velocímetro lee lo mismo que el GPS. Todavía no hay heladas ni nieve, así que no puedo comentar sobre el agarre.

En general, muy contentos con la "actualización" y tampoco rompieron el banco.

Lo siento, solo tomé una foto rápida de ellos; mira a continuación, pero si alguien quiere primeros planos, puedo publicarlos la próxima semana. Por favor hágamelo saber.

He subido la suspensión 5 cm, con el kit de la marca Profinder y le he puesto estos neumáticos BF T/A 265/75 R16, en total ha subido 10 cm.
La suspensión es muy estable y he ganado una distancia al suelo significativa.
Pero tengo un problema con el sistema de asistencia a la conducción, me dice que el radar no lee… No sé si es problema de haber subido el chasis, no sé…
No funciona ni el "Asistente delantero, ni el Control de crucero..."
La semana que viene tengo que llevarlo a WV para esta reparación de garantía... a ver que dicen

I have raised the suspension 5 cm, with the Profinder brand kit and I have put these BF T/A 265/75 R16 tires on it, in total it has gone up 10 cm.
The suspension is very stable and I have gained significant ground clearance.

I’m sure it won’t be a warranty issue if the increase in height has caused the issue. But it should be easy to get it recalibrated, even Kwikfit can calibrate ADAS systems:

If you buy from Rogue Alloys or JB Wheels be careful. They come from China and dont have any valid paperwork to warrant the quality. I've bought from these and its caused nothing but hassle to the point where I am having to change them. Make sure that you inform your insurance that you are buying after market wheels from China with no documentation or testing certificates.
