Who wants to play a game?
Rank the following for relative cost of exchanging your 907: UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia. (I appreciate that there will be variability within each country).

Portugal. €13. What’s the prize?

Morocco £4.50 including the cylinder: not campingaz but looks the same. Haven’t tried to swap the cylinder for a cg one at Go Outdoors yet.

€17 for a 12.5 kg bottle in Spain, which easily refills 4 x 907s.
Why are we paying through the nose in the U.K. for gas refills??

still half full after several years.
Same here. We have had 2 refills in 8 years and the bottle still half full.
99% of our cooking is done on gas canister cookers. Or if on site use the electric we are paying for.
This year we only used 4 gas canisters in 3 weeks.

I haven't a clue but I'll bet the UK tops the league by being the most expensive.

I think the administrator does the prizes. ;)Makes my 32 euros from mr bricolage in France a few days ago feel very expensive.
29 euros at the Bricolage at Synod near Annecy, not bad compared with rip off UK prices.

I normally full my own but not easy when you run out on hols. 3 weeks without hook UK did the damage at the start of the holiday.

Just paid 40 euros in Bologna Italy with exchange of an empty one. Looked everywhere but could only find the local camping shop. She acknowledged it was expensive and said that's the price everywhere. Probably be at least a year or two until I need to refill.

€ 44,99 in The Netherlands with exchange; € 89,50 for new, filled bottle. Fixed price all over the country.

based in Walsall, not far from m6 junction 10. £50 for a new full 907 or £38 for an exchange.

Sounds competitive for the uk! Unless anyone else knows otherwise…

£45 exchange, thought that was expensive till saw the £50!
Used 4 in the last 3 years.

Daylight robbery
I agree but not lots of choice and dont use many. Minimise use, precooked meals, take flask hot water for day trips, electric kettle on hook up all helps.
