hi guys

I've just taken ownership of my brand spankers t6 beach. Love the vehicle and came with some nice extras but the dealer (who spec'd it) decided not to go for a diesel parking heater.
Does anyone know who/where is best to go to get one retro fitted preferably in and around north west England? The only place I seem to trust is concept-multi-car but they are in kent
Any help greatly appreciated.

Welcome ,
One of the first T6 beach on the forum.
Pic's and details would be welcome , many here seem to get lack of info by the UK dealers!
Not me , i stick to to my good old 2012 SE:D

Very sad you need afthermarket adding on a brand new verhicle , i can't help on that as not from the UK . But would search for an non VW firm who does this and ask for references from other Cali's he has done and give those a call...
Think some others here can give tips on where to go.

Just noticed you are in the North so a bit far to come unless you tie it in with a holiday which you must be planning.

Reimo Manchester are long gone, but there are plenty of other converters, who I feel around half could fit them. Search for eberspacher dealers then assess how sensitive / aesthetic they will be with the fitting.

Back in 2013 there were 2 people who had heaters successful and well fitted by Advanced Specialist Products in Manchester. Should still be the thread deep in the Beach section somewhere.
I could tell you where not to go, if your considering a conversion company in Horsham then PM me first.

I would imagine not a cheap Item. We have had our California SE for just over a year and only used the onboard heater once. Its usless if you are "upstairs", only good for when the roof is down. We take a 2kw fan heater and hang it on the 2 lugs in the roof it works a treat and ony £12.00. But of coarse only any good on a site with hook up.

I am surprised that you find the heater useless with the roof up. We have used ours on many occasions with the roof up and end up turning it down as it is too hot.

depends which way you sleep upstairs. We sleep with head to the narrow end. It wont heat that end.
If you sleep the other way round you will find the heater most effective - just a tip there ........ also it gives you a bit more head room
