Annoying noises

Picked up my T5 (built May 2015) yesterday and on my first drive from the dealer noticed exactly this noise that you describe (unfortunately didn't hear it on the test drive). It's driving me mad already! Hopefully I can similarly get this sorted under warranty. Thanks for the post, glad I found it!

I guess things have changed at VW

What always gets me about that ad. Is no one is concerned that the lady is sparko. Is she ok? She could be dead or drugged for all that old bloke knows and he doesn't think to check on her. Maybe I've been overthinking it all these years but still......

We've had the rattle also since we picked up the Cali. I think / suspect it's the wipers; as the sound changes when they are used. I'm going to (a.) fit wiper spoilers if I can find them and (b) call back to VW at the 15k first service.
