I'm a little concerned about the unicorn tears THB.. just how are these obtained (this doesn't sound very PC to me)?Often discussed on this forum. Widely held views are (a) never with an awning fitted; and (b) would never submit my nice shiny paintwork to that, I wash it myself with goose down mitts and unicorn tears (double bucket method).
But some people have used a car wash quite successfully with their van.
No, it isn't... I do it all the time as well.I go through every month. Never had any problems. Including awning. I seem to be bold...
Its normal. The housings are not sealed. I sometimes see condensation after driving in the rain and then it disappears. My wife took our Tiguan to a 'hand' wash facility with jet wash lance, now the LED lights have condensation in them. As I sweat on the potential cost implications of new headlamps, I suggest hand wash only
Here is my condensation during a recent trip to France. Concerned me enough to take a photo. But it disappeared during the day in the sun.My wife took our Tiguan to a 'hand' wash facility with jet wash lance, now the LED lights have condensation in them. As I sweat on the potential cost implications of new headlamps, I suggest hand wash only
Tell it a very sad story, something along the lines of Bambi's mum, then sit back with a bucket.I'm a little concerned about the unicorn tears THB.. just how are these obtained (this doesn't sound very PC to me)?
Also, re. the goose down mits, down and water don't really go together as far as I can see, I tried it out with the contents of an old pillow just now and it didn't go well, what's the knack?
Best regards
Carwash&goWhat carwash is it? What company?
