are brakes covered by the VW Das Welt used warranty?

I bought a 15 plate beach from a main dealer about 3 months ago with a 6 month das welt warranty - have probably done about 500 miles - and the brake wear warning light has come on. Would this be covered - appraeciate its wear and tear but I would have though that the brakes would have been checked by the garage.

I doubt whether you'll get much joy as a warranty job but you might get some "goodwill" if you go back to the dealer you bought it from.... if your lucky!
