Over the last few days I have been running the AH more than I would normally do and this morning I get this message "Maximum Runtime Reached" after only running less than an hour. Any ideas what's going on and how I may solve it? I've looked at the Owners Manual and the Cali Suppliment but cant seem to find anything too helpful.
Thx in advance.
Edit: Found ref on page 39 of Cali Supplement. Apparently I have to move the van in a specific minimum distance from Stationary to a new position.
Any experience out there?

Using the Remote on the T6.1 triggers " Immediate Heat " a function to warm the vehicle prior to driving. It can be used a number of times upto a maximum of 120 minutes total runtime before the vehicle is driven. Driving resets the 120 minute timer.
Continuous Heat, via the Control Panel has no such limitations.

Thanks WG. Will go through the setup tomorrow to restore feature. Thx again.

Hi, best is to use the continuous heat. The Immediate heat function is only to warm up your cali for example before you get in (hence also to operate with your remote control) or inside to warm up a bit in the morning for example or any other moment you want to warm a bit up. After using that function a few times, you get that message (this is to save your batteries because turning on the heating every time uses power). Now you can no longer use it; driving forward a bit can help (does a reset) but also the following:
In the fuse box next to steering wheel: take these 4 out and put back after a moment.

To reset a frozen screen, under the seat: take this one out and put back after a moment.

OK, so all seems to be good now. Ran the Cali up to the local filling station and topped up (I have heard that with low levels of fuel the heater will not operate. Mine was just under half full). Returned home after a ten mile trip and tested the remote ( no ignition switched on). Press and hold and green LED light goes out and the heater begins its start-up sequence. Within a minute heater is up and running. Used the remote to switch of (red LED on remote goes out). Thanks for help

In the end it could just as well be a case of low fuel :D. Now, others can only benefit if they have something similar and use the search function :thumb

I don't think it would be low fuel, my heater worked yesterday to defrost & when I drove off I only went as far as the end of the road before I had the fuel warning light come on with a range of 50 miles remmaining.

I also strongly suspect that it wasn't whith the OP because a message "Maximum Runtime Reached" came up indicating what it actually was (I did this as a kind of joke but apparently it didn't come across that way, I blame my zero language sense in English because my native language is not English). But it is basic: I believe you have to have a fourth fuel in your tank or it won't work as well anymore, i.e. the auxiliary heater will stop after a while and be difficult to get back on.
So you say that your auxiliary heater came on briefly to defrost your windows and then you got the message that you had only 50 miles remainin?

The heater was switched on by the remote control about 20 mins before driving off , it was still running when I started the engine.
