Does anyone have any experience with the stick on mounts below?

The magnetic ones are good, but pretty large. Want something that I can leave on the van. This will go on the front door - and one behind the sliding door. I suspect, low enough that it is not an eyesore and easy to use. Yes, I will not be able to open the front door etc.

We have these and they work very well:

Thank you. Did look at them, but do you leave them on or remove and fix each time? Heard that it is difficult to take off as the magnet is very strong?

Would you have a pic of it on the van please?

You can leave them on, they are super strong. But easy to remove - watch the video on the website for best method. I don’t have a photo of them on the van.

the video was not loading on the phone. Now able to view on the computer. Thanks.

I leave them on all the time. No issues! Absolutely love them. Recently also bought their magnet mounts for MaXTrax traction boards and now have those mounted all the time too. Fantastic kit!

Interesting. The only reason I was not considering the Tactivans ones - Do they not stick out a lot from the door and therefore will catch on clothes etc?

For a lower profile, I was considering this kind of a setup instead:

or maybe if I get it low down, enough, then the risk of catching on other items is minimal?

I can see that your's is pretty high up on the door.

I have never had an issue with catching anything. Here’s another photo for reference. You can certainly mount them lower. I have the rear one low and the front one midway up the door for better tension when the awning is tilted in the rain.

Those look like decent quality but wouldn’t work for me for one main reason. That silver piece would make me mental with all the black on my van.

When you get a moment, if I can get a closeup please? Would be very helpful. Thanks.

My van is beige ... and so anything stuck on high, will become quite visible. Maybe the bottom side of the door may work.

Here you go, front and rear. And before my Swamper friends on here comment I did mount the BFG’s for now and removed the Falkens. I’m going on a fairly hardcore off-road expedition soon and the Falkens are more than half tread worn already.

Thank you. Yeah, don't think they will look too bad on a beige Cali, Will decide to move that closer to the bottom left edge or thereabouts of the door. My OCD would want to have them both at the same level, but I understand what you mean on better tensioning when the awning is tilted.

On to order these now. They can be removed quite easily as well if needed.

Very easy to remove if needed. I just use a longer screwdriver and insert sideways through both holes and pull.
