I’ve been looking at a 2nd hand Cali, only have pictures at the moment.

Under the dash and rear seats the plastic seems to be beige in colour, where as I’d always assumed it was grey.

I can’t see this as an option in the brochure.

Does anyone have this trim as opposed to the grey.

Are you sure it’s not the light/camera?

I’m not 100% but actually seen a few like this, but again, only in pictures.

Looks Beige under dash too?

They have started their plastic is beige.

So. Are we saying with 100% confidence that there has never been a beige plastic trim in a 2018 California?

Hope so, will ask the owner to do a video later to confirm.

I have this nagging feeling that when we bought in 2018 there was a choice. Ours is grey and I don’t recall any debate about it, but I do think there might have been a beige option at some point around then, maybe the year before?

Dug out the 2017 & 2018 price lists.

Seems like the only interior choices are standard or Alcantara, nothing to do with plastic trim.

So can only assume it’s the camera.

The Cali I’m looking at has this spec sheet:

“-[HU] Moon Rock/Titanium Black-Moon Rock Gray/Moon Rock”

Should be ok.

I kept the brochure and price list from our MY18 build. Hopefully you can see the attachments.

The upholstery section under options (Page 4) says "dashboard lower in Moonrock Grey, floor covering in Moonrock Grey".

It might just fade to a beige colour over time.

The original black rails on our beach are now a lovely shade of violet.

Dug out the 2017 & 2018 price lists.
Snap! Our posts crossed.

I think it must be grey, but might have become a little lighter over time.

Thanks for digging these out, much appreciated.

My hope is that it is trick of the camera, would be odd for the plastic to fade that much in under 3 years

Pictures from the same Cali on Autotrader (not the one I’m looking at)

Amazing how different a colour the plastic looks in each pic!

I see what you mean. One of those pictures almost looks like a light cream colour.

Hopefully it is a trick of the camera.

It's not as bad as the current caramel kitchen units on the Coast though. Beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that, but what they hell were they thinking? You can get them in dark grey in other markets. (Just not in the UK). Pity.

I just had a look in mine and found that the plastic surface can give a two tone colour effect which changes as I moved up and down. ie it all depends on the viewing angle.
2017 model.
