Does anyone know where I can get these bits

46556just one of the screws is missing

46557and the biggie... Is it possible to buy this section for the back of the seat? How the previous owner wrecked it is beyond me.

Also, and sorry for being annoying, water isn't coming through tap, even though I can hear the pump running, and I've filled the tank, and also none of the rear interior lights are working, is there something I'm missing? Thank you! Sorry for being an annoying newbie.

Hello, no problem. Why are you annoying?

Most parts you will be able to buy at an official VW dealer. Just keep in mind that you might be spending a lot of money. Too much for what it is really worth, but those parts will fit the best and you should get a 2 year warranty on each piece. For manufacturer's faults, not own destroyment, like this.
Maybe there will be parts available in the shop? But I don't know. I am not a VIP member, so I have no access to that.

For the waterpump: maybe the pump works, but has a broken part inside that will keep the pump from pulling the water up to the tap?

As for the interior lights, there might be a blown fuse?

Not enough info (and no van in real life) to be sure what is wrong here.

A little info about the van itself can come in handy too?
What does the former owner say?

Sorry to be a bit negative but if this is the required repairs you can see need attention I would be more worried about the damage you can't see. Engine, gearbox etc. The Cali looks as if its had a hard life. Did the previous owners love their Cali and look after it in a good way??

Maybe they just used it, and enjoyed it...instead of obsessing over resale value

You can get all parts from VW. Some parts are likely to be a bit pricy, but probably still cheaper than the club shop Lol. The problem with your interior lights, check fuses. Tap issues, search forum.

Thanks for the replies, it's had a full vw service history, so I'm pretty confident about the mechanicals. Previous owner had 3 boisterous children and wasn't at all precious about it cosmetically, but I'd like to get it back as it should be. I can't see a fuse diagram anywhere in the book, could anyone tell me which fuse is for the rear internal lights please? Sorry for posting in the wrong forum.. Newbie ignorance!

It turns the alarm sensors off on the interior, so the alarm doesn’t go off if you are camping, or have a dog
or on a ferry...switches off movement sensors too.

Click on Campmobile then the year of your vehicle and then the relevant Section, Accessory or Bodywork, and search for the items to get VW Part Numbers. Items from a VW Dealership or Forum Shop . Give them a ring. Discount if VIP member.

I'd try eBay or just Google it before going to a dealer. New trim parts will cost a fortune from VW

Most of the plastic bits are available still from VW, although may be a bit of lead time.

I’ve changed the seat back panel. My post here tells you the procedure and cost:

Thanks so much for this, that's cheaper than I expected, to be honest, I'll haggle for the same price at Speke vw commercial centre!

The tap issue might be the micro switch has gone in the tap. You can buy a new tsp from the shop and it is not too difficult to fit. Re the damage to the seat back - I had a bit of this caused by the plastic catching on something underneath the rear section when the bed was made up. Wouldn't be helped by boisterous movement on the bed by children or others.

Thanks, I sorted the tap... Inside the tank the pipe had become disconnected from the pump, that's all. (although now the icon for the clean water tank is flashing on the display panel?) I also located the fuse for the interior lights, and now they work too, feeling quite proud of myself now, I'm not such a handy man!

Maybe you hit the level sensor (the tube down in the tank with a smaller tube around it, or disconnected the connector?
Or you disconnected the wrong connector somewhere with the display on?
Try to stop and restart the dispaly, maybe it will reset itself?

There are 3 or 4 traders on ebay that specialise in second hand Cali bits, but they are second hand, so they probably won't be in perfect condition. I don't have a Cali, but I do have a Caravelle that I have retrofitted with genuine Cali beach parts. I have used a mix of secondhand and new parts from the main dealer. Plastic trim is often cheaper or a similar price direct from VW. I retrofitted the rear lighting using a loom from a Cali beach. Not sure about other models, but this loom goes down the passenger side B pillar and was just long enough to reach under the front passenger seat. There are 2 or 3 fuses at the end of my loom (under the passenger seat). One is for lighting. If you have a battery under the front passenger seat, you could try looking there first.
