I'm a bit confused as i have read on various posts that the interval is 4, 5 and 6 years depending on build date? Can anyone confirm what it is for a 2023 204 4 motion please? Also if there is any DSG or Haldex servicing required and the timeline on that too?

Thanks

VW recently changed the Cambelt replacement in the U.K. to the same as Europe, 10 yrs or 140,000 miles.

Haldex and DSG oil changes are 40,000 miles or 2 yrs whichever is soonest.

Wow 10 years, that's confidence for you... might be due/overdue a Haldex and DSG oil change....

not sure 10 years is correct. A quick Google shows 4-5 years depending on the type of motor. I would feel more secure with 90k and 4-5 years whichever is sooner.

Managed to speak to Eurovans at Crawley and got confirmation that Cambelt is 133k miles with no time limit, but they still recommend 5 years, DSG is every 40k miles and Haldex for 4 Motion is every 20k. Haldex feels very soon/frequent...

Every time we put our van in to the VW specialists, not main dealer, (diagonally opposite wheel sensors this time £600, the manager advises a cam belt change, we have a 2019 ocean with 38,000 miles.
I have seen the new information about the change to European mileage as per VW in Germany but my other half is being influenced by the garage, they are panicking that the cambelt will go costing us an arm and a leg. Oh what to do??

Wouldn’t get too worried about the Cambelt interval of 140k miles or 10years for the T6 as your front crankshaft oil seal will fail at around 5 to 6 years and either replacement to cure the oil leak and/or deal with the oil contamination of all the belts will necessitate a water pump and Cambelt change at the same time.
VW regards the seal as a “consumable” item and not covered under the All in Plan.
Typical cost at dealer £1,200 to £1,400 for Seal, water pump and Cambelt change inc. labour.
