First festival with our 4 year old.

Is anyone else attending?

We’re there too with our 3yr old - went for a day a couple of years ago and it was great so really looking forward to the full weekend

It will be great to catch up.

Hopefully the weather will be kind. We are having a pub lunch local on the thurs if you want to join us.

Cheers M

Ok we have a table booked at 12.00hrs at the Kings Arms in Wareham 26th July. If you want to join us we are the only booking at present so they have space. I imagine it will get busy closer to the event - it looks a lovely pub and the location seems perfect for our needs.

Cheers

Hope to catch up.

Hi @Mart123blue and all who attended . So how was Camp Bestival?. Thinking of going next year so would love to hear what are your thoughts of it as its quite expensive. Ive got 2 kids 6 and 10 so be nice to hear if wouow be good for them as well?

Yes highly recommend Camp Bestival, we’ve been going for years - this year for the first in our own Cali, thank goodness as the weather Saturday night was awful and those in tents suffered far worse that we did. (It was cancelled Sunday due to high winds but has never happened to us before). Yes it’s expensive for tickets but a whole weekend of entertainment. Lots of food choices and none of the family will get bored! Take refillable water bottles and your own loo rolls ;)

Sound great

We enjoyed it, but won't be back next year. We paid to upgrade to backstage camping so it was costing us about £400 a day- I didn't expect to be sharing 4 showers with approx 200 tents and 150 camper vans/motor homes.

Also the decent acts start around 21.00hrs so not exactly family friendly.

It is good and there are loads of activities laid on for the kids during the day but overall it was the camping with friends we enjoyed most from the weekend.
