Hi all.
I hope someone is able to help.
Our CD player on our T6 has stopped working. Did work, but not now.
Could simply be user error.
Put the CD in (printed side up) and get “reading CD”. Then nothing more.
What am I doing wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
Chris.

Assume it’s a “proper“ cd not a copy/mp3 and that you’ve tried a few discs?…..just to rule out possibilities!
Might be worth a go with a cleaning disc, in case the laser is dirty.

Thanks Arun.
A genuine CD.

When you press the media button is the source set to CD. rather than one of the other settings such as AUX.

Meoncoast.
Thanks for your input.
The only highlighted = AUX, BT audio and WLAN. All others are greyed out.
Hope that helps.
Chris.

Welshgas.
The reboot has worked, so a great thanks for your help.
We can now listen to our stack of old tech CD’s
Also thanks to all who took the time to help.
Chris.

Yeah, CD for music, phone for phone, SatNav for SatNav and amazingly when I switch off my phone when I get in the California everything else still works.
What happened to cassette tapes for music? Let’s not move with the times so fast.

Cassettes! - I’m still on eight track tapes. Only just upgraded from the car gramophone player, that used to skip too much on the speed bumps.

I had one of those but in the era before speed humps and the present proliferation of pot holes.
