Hi All,

I live in the warmer climate of South Africa. We spend a fair amount camping and therefore need a all-terrain tyre.
We had a rather scary incident on the week-end when both rear tyres punctured at the same time(not blow out where tyre shreds) Luckily we all safe and sound.

I have two questions:

1. Can we replace the current size 225/65/R17 with 235/65/R17 ? Are there any issues I should be worried about?
2. Anyone purchased these : 235/65R17 GOODYEAR WRANGLER ALL TERRAIN ADVENTURE (108T) see link : https://bit.ly/3qrRPgO

I am new to the group and really thankful for any help or feedback.

Regards,

Scott

Hi Loz, I’ve been looking at those wheels but unable to find any info on load rating, don’t suppose you know it.

Cheers

Great that just does it, just. Probably will opt for the Matt black. Not sure if I should go 18s. Standard is 6.5 17’s ET60 with 235/65 R17 C

May I ask your opinion on the vast offset differential.
Will it have any effect on the steering, wear on parts and ride.

I appreciate its a lot to ask. Guess it will void any warranty for parts in that area?

Oh I’m changing to a Imduim grey 680 hence Matt black.

Thanks
