Yes, have a feel at the bottom of the upstairs bed where the little make up piece is next time you go camping! The moisture condenses on the metal bits.
even get drips from the screws that hold the safety net loops in place!
 
Personally I have found the best solution for ventilation to reduce condensation is the Brandrup airscreen:

This goes over the sliding window so that you can open it without rain getting in (unless it is really very windy). It is then easy to adjust the gap in the window during the night as required.

It is also very good when using the stove in the rain - the sliding window can still be open without rain getting in.

I find the problem with opening the front windows inside a windscreen cover is judging how much to open them before going to bed. If it gets too cold you need to find the key and switch on the ignition to open or close the electric windows as required.
