I think we’re at the stage where I’ll post the link to the Facebook group for information and those who want to connect, can. Those who don’t want to can leave it.

I’m sure the moderators will be in touch if they think a cooking forum is appropriate or not for the club.

Absolutely right. The youf wouldn’t touch FB these days.

I manage a group of 1.5 million members giving guidance on nutrition via Facebook. I would say the average age of our group is over 35. Some in their 60s and 70s. It’s easy to diss Facebook but there are few other ways to instantly communicate with so many people.

Have no intention of using facebook so would like the cali group cooking page. I even find myself only using 2 rings at home! We have stews not casseroles. Ridge monkey ideas would also be welcome as they seem very popular. I did pasties and as long as you keep turning on a low heat they are fine. Might try a diffuser as well.
