DIP Switches

Just replaced an old Lead Acid battery with an original GEL (Exide) battery...can anyone confirm these are the correct DIP switch settings for the controller on the CE

1: OFF (1 Battery)
2: OFF (GEL)

then 3 and 4 are not that important...not sure what 3 actually does? and 4 just C/F for temps

I think that's correct then, Both to Off... Still not sure what switch 3 does though!

Cool Box..OFF.....Fridge..ON

Mines set to off but works fine right down to freezing etc.

The translation of the DIP switch 3 is:

Test DIP switch position: cool box or refrigerator
* Symbol and CB (cool box)
or
* Symbol and CS (refrigerator)

aren't both doing the same job?

Good point. No idea. I'm not sure what mine is set to but, as you say, it freezes stuff so, that's cool.....see what I did there?
