Does anyone have the Fiamma bike rack on their T5/T6? If so, could someone please let me know what the circumference of the top horizontal chassis bar is?

In VW and Thule's wisdom, they made the Kylie rack with what seems to be the only rack on the market with oval tubing

I was thinking of building up the oval tubing with 2 x half moon rubber blocks (just the width of an arm clamp) therefore turning it into a full circle. Not sure if anyone has done it before.

Yes.I took all of these for a forum member making a spare wheel carrier.
