Driver being cooked by heater

Well I've learnt something anyway. I've actually never touched the rear Climatronic panel (usually just the dog in the back of the van while we're travelling, and she rarely complains) but now I know where the heat/coolth is going to come out when one day I do.

One wet Sunday I really must read that manual that came with the Cali.

Use the sync button and all your problems will go away.

They certainly do .

No need to go down various rabbit holes of parking heater, B vents, C vents or even heated seats. If you find you are getting hot while driving, press the sync button and as long as the driver's side temperature setting is what you want all will be fine again .

One final point, never assume that no one has been playing with the rear heater setting without you knowing about it .

I had this once with my T5 when I'd only had it a very short while and didn'#t really know what was what - I fiddled about with stuff on the dashboard (not the control panel) and it never happened again. Odd.
