Drivers seat removal

I am looking at putting a powered sub under the drivers seat. does anyone know the correct way to disconnect the airbag wiring harness without causing it to go off or produce an error message prior to taking the seat out.

If you disconnect the battery and reconnect the air bag harness before you reconnect the battery then you shouldn't get any issues.

To avoid a dash warning message don't turn the ignition when the airbag is disconnected.
