DSG Improvement.

Hi all. My wife picked up her new Golf tdi Dsg this week and compared to our old 2010 model, I've noticed the gearbox is a vast improvement.

Gear changes are still as slick as ever but it's so much better when creeping into a parking space, very similar to a conventional auto. The old golf (and a couple of others I tested at the time) was terrible at this and tricky to edge forward that extra inch or two.

Just hoping the Dsg box on the Ocean we've ordered is as good.

Has anyone else noticed an improvement with the newer dsg boxes?

Can't fault our 2012 box no issues, + 50k

My 2015 is wonderful, though never had another. I do have to make sure I am in d1 to take off, so I don't get the much talked about lag.
It is like flying in a space craft, love it.
And all the other bits like auto lights. Windscreen wipers , etc make it even more effortless
