Extended Guarantees - what I have found out - beware ?

Just sharing this information in case useful for others . I bought my Cali ( not yet named ) in June and took out the extended guarantee for the 5 years 150K miles £788 in vat.

I just spoke to VW HQ to see , if after one month my paper work was on my file for my Cali.

So far nothing is on file and I am just covered to 2020

I have 'raised a case ' and I will be called back when someone has made an investigation .

Lucky I read this forum because if I did not I might not be within the three month window to get this sorted if there is a "dealer error".

Mine took over a month to get setup, but I checked it at another dealer last week and it and the 2 services I bought were all on the system.
