Found webasto label inside drivers door but can’t see any heater?

Hope this isn’t a stupid question. Just found this label inside the drivers door. I’m sure it relates to a parking heater but there’s no evidence of one in the van? Can anyone help please? Thanks

It’s the engine coolant heater. It kicks in if under 5 degrees to pre heat the coolant to help with emissions. I had the same mystery last year which @WelshGas kindly solved!

Ok thanks for that. Should I hear anything when it kicks in? It’s been well under 5 degrees for a few days now but not heard or felt anything different? Thanks

I don’t have a remote control unit for this.

No you wouldn’t notice it and it won’t have a remote. That would be for the parking heater which is on the B pillar.

I don’t have a remote control unit for this.

If you start the van when it‘s cold, idle for a short time then switch off, you should hear it for a few seconds whilst shutting down.
