Gas fail. Help in France!

That is not good at all is it. I remember my first trip out in my new van to scotland, Tried lighting the hob and no ignition spark, quick look on the forum and found the white wire underneath the hob in the cupboard sometimes falls off its connector, popped it back on and all fine, went to use the tap and it came off in my hand, again another quick forum read and a hard wallop and it popped back on again. The joys of van ownership i suppose!

Try this....
With a hob burner lit and burning poorly try giving the regulator a smart tap. Often when this type of regulator fails it simply sticks inside. A smart tap may temporarily fix it, if so that will confirm that it is the regulator at fault.
