Gas Safety Certificate when hiring out your California

Looking at motorhome rentals and habitation cert websites implies a Habitation cert and public liability insurance is what's needed. Perhaps some of the forum members who have rental businesses i.e. Martin, BMVS, could shed some light on the subject.

we rent our van out and have the gas checks done annually, costs about £60 so it's not worth running the risk and you know that everything is in good order.

Do you get Gas Safe Certificate?
If not then it's not what's required to comply with the law.

Surely a Motorhome Habitation check covers all bases, gas and electric. See the second link for a checklist of items to be tested.

If this doesn't get you a Gas Safe Certificate then you are not complying with the law.
It's like saying you had your car serviced, which covers most of the MOT Certificate requirements therefore I have an MOT.
