Hi,
We have had a GC680 for about a year now and love it. (We are in NZ)
But, I don't sleep too well because I like to put my feet where the gap in the end of the bed is, and it wakes me up all the time! The mattress we have is the the original, but we have a topper which makes the three pieces comfortable.
Has anyone found a good way of filling in the gap (not with a new mattress - I have looked at those messages on this forum). Its really the gap in the frame we need to fix somehow, (and I can then solve the matress gap no problem). Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Kathryn

Hi Kathryn.
We have had our GC680 7 months and like you we love it.
We didn’t sleep very well at first and found the bed and mattress extremely uncomfortable.
After lots of research we decided to remove all the plastic springs and replaced the middle section with MDF. Then had a made to measure latex mattress. Now our GC is perfect…. No gaps and the mattress is comfortable.

Hi Kathryn
We also found the gap in the mattress annoying. My husband made a filler with some wood and this has solved the problem for us. It stays in place no problem, is strong enough to climb up on and is easily removable. We also have the original mattress and use a topper. I now find it really comfortable. I fill the gap between the topper and the wood with a spare throw blanket.

That’s really good! I was planning to do something along those lines eventually. Don’t suppose you could give the dimensions? Thanks
