Ghost 2 problems

Ive a T6.1 cali . Has a Ghost 2 installed 14 months ago . Since then Ive had a few issues on about 3 or 4 occasions when I remove the key the van continues to run with all the electrics working , but the key fob inoperative . On occassions it seems to recover itself with me trying the Ghost 2 app / keys in ignition. This occurs on average every 4 months . van runs absolutely fine inbetween . Recently it happened again , we had to stall the van (it's an auto of course ) by disconnecting the air intake to the engine and blocking it with my hand (very effective btw). I disconnected the battery /reconnected several times locked manually then suddenly alarm came on ..hey presto everything back to normal. I thinks it could be my Ghost , the Ghost installer doesn't think so , the garage thought it might be my ignition lock barrel . Wonder if any of my compatriots might have some ideas .

I’ve have the ghost 2 immobiliser the only problem I’ve had with it is the doors not locking when you drive away. I got round this issue by using the ghost app. Ghost 2 comes with a 2 year warranty I beleave with auto watch and the installer might give another years warranty. I would contact autowatch first to see where you stand it might be a know issue etc. the ghost 2 can be installed a few different ways. To the ignition or gearbox etc etc.
