DAB aerial on left hand side A pillar, roughly level with the grab handle...
(apologies for the dirty windscreen, did a 1,300 round trip to France at the weekend!)
In terms of the steps for routing the wires for the aerial, it's easier if you remove the left side heater vent as well (just pulls out the way, no fixings as such).
Next pic shows the Mic position in the tray just above the stereo. Nice short route to fit, and not too intrusive. Would be neater if it was by the mirror though.
Pic of the unit in place. Has very good touch screen, more like an iPad really, does pinch to zoom on the maps etc.
Happy to chat to you about my experience if you want. Last time I did something like this was in my Ford Cortina as a teenager, and although there are a LOT more cables now, it was alright.
